The Brick House Seeks Artist(s) to Fill Studio Space

The Brick House Community Resource Center, at 24 Third Street in Turners Falls, still has a portion of big beautiful studio space that it would love to rent to an artist. The warm second floor room boasts a recently refinished wood floor and several windows that welcome the sunlight.

The space, which is approximately 600 square feet and has its own bathroom, currently hosts one artist and has space for another, possibly two more. The space is available for $225 per month, with utilities included . For more information, or to make arrangements to see the space, please call 413-863-9576.

The mission of The Brick House is to support individual, family and community well being through collaboration on economic development, youth development, leadership development and education.

The Brick House serves the five villages of Montague - Lake Pleasant, Millers Falls, Montague Center, Montague City and Turners Falls - and the Town of Gill.

Local sculptors, Turners Falls River Culture Project, and members of the Community of Turners Falls are creating a Sculpture Park where young folks can display their art. Please come see the site, add your ideas, plan to make a sculpture. Be part of this creative collaboration! For more information, contact Joe Landry at 863-2915 or youth3dpark@aol.com.
